Arman Tanman is currently a senior staff engineer in EPA’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality. Arman joined EPA as a mechanical/environmental engineer and spent his first two decades investigating light-duty cars and heavy-duty trucks, to make sure they meet emission standards as part of EPA’s compliance program. For the past decade he has been involved with heavy-duty and off-road engine programs, regulations, and currently is part of EPA’s Technology Assessment Branch focusing on Marine and Port related technologies. Arman has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a M.S. in Engineering Management from George Washington University.
