Dorothe Görtz is a senior consultant and terminal planning expert with HPC and provides experience in ports, the intermodal and logistics industry. Her primary focus is optimizing terminal processes, logistics hub development, network strategy and energy efficiency. Dorothe has also worked on several development plans and optimization projects for intermodal terminals and inland hubs worldwide. She is engaged in traffic network analyses and optimization studies to derive and implement improvement strategies. Besides, she supports business development and successful application for external funding to implement innovative projects. Her key project achievements included providing terminal planning expertise in revising and optimizing the terminal layout and planning operational processes for two greenfield projects in North America and the process analysis and optimization of intermodal terminals in Europe and the United States. In addition, Dorothe supported developing an innovation cluster for fuel-cell powered equipment in ports, including analysis of requirements, funding management, specification of refuelling infrastructure and evaluation of hydrogen supply chains.
