Duane is a former US Coast Guard reservist and former police officer who joined the US Dept. of Homeland Security as an Exercise practitioner in 2006. Duane joined the Port Security Grant Management team within FEMA in 2007 and supervised PSGP since 2009. Duane leans on his experiences to help facilitate funding of maritime security enhancements in support of Homeland Security priorities. Duane enjoys working with port security partners and seeing the results of well spent security funds.
