About the Port of the Future ConferenceTM
OUR HISTORY
The Port of the Future ConferenceTM is hosted by the Borders, Trade and Immigration Institute, a United States Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence, led by the University of Houston.
- The inaugural Port of the Future ConferenceTM was in person event drawing 300+ registrants from around the globe, including 97 speakers.
- The 2021 Port of the Future ConferenceTM was a virtual event, hosting 800+ registrants from around the globe, including 175 speakers and over 20+ sponsors and partners.
- The 2022 Conference was a hybrid event, garnering over four 400+ registrants and 60+ speakers, despite the impact of COVID travel restrictions.
- The 2023 Conference was held on-site, in person, with 400 attendees, 113 speakers, and representatives from 57 ports.
