About the Conference
The Port of the Future Conference is hosted by the University of Houston College of Technology and the Borders, Trade, and Immigration (BTI) Institute, a United States Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence.
- The 2021 Port of the Future Conference was a virtual event, hosting over eight hundred (800+) registrants from around the globe, including 175 speakers and over twenty (20) sponsors and partners.
- The 2022 Conference was a hybrid event, garnering over four hundred (400+) registrants and sixty plus (60+) speakers, despite the impact of COVID travel restrictions.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS. In 2023, we expect the Port of the Future Conference to grow significantly in size. The Conference is pleased to announce strategic partnerships with:
- The International Port Community Systems (IPCSA) Association; and
- The Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) of the Organization of American States whose influence will help extend the Conference’s outreach in Central and South America.
