Dylan Lakatos is an engineer on the Energy Transition team at the American Bureau of Shipping. A graduate of Texas A&M University at Galveston, with a B.S. of Marine Engineering Technology. He spent the first 4 years of his career as a design review engineer at the American Bureau of shipping, reviewing marine equipment, power generation, LNG fuel supply systems, and auxiliary systems. He now works qualifying new technologies and developing rules and requirements for alternative fueled vessels and marine/offshore decarbonization.
