Kate Kerigan is the lead Program Manager for Shell TechWorks, Shell’s innovation and rapid prototyping group. She runs multiple projects, primarily in the GHG countermeasures space, including work on logistics optimization, carbon sequestration, reuse and storage, EV charge-point network optimization, and R&D for heavy duty off-road electrification, to support our customers’ profitability and decarbonization goals.

Prior to working at Shell, Kate was Director of Operations and ran the Office of Special Projects under Massachusetts’ Energy and Environmental Affairs Agency, managed civil and environmental remediation projects at GZA GeoEnvironmental and Exxon Mobil, and led strategic development at a defense industry startup through its IPO and acquisition.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from MIT, a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia. She’s an avid skier, jogger, and frequent (and middling) baker.
